WHOTOPS is a public marketplace for attention. There are no hidden algorithms or personalized feeds. The board is ranked entirely by financial commitment. A higher bid gets you a higher spot. It is that simple.
The Lifecycle of a Listing
1. Claim
Put your URL on the board
Submit a website, product, app, or profile. Add a title, choose a category, and upload an image. New listings start at a minimum entry bid of GHS 5.
2. Rank
Your bid determines your position
Once your payment clears securely via Paystack, your listing instantly goes live. It is slotted into the overall board and your chosen category board based strictly on the amount you paid.
3. Defend
Protect your spot from challengers
Because this is a live marketplace, anyone can outbid you at any time. When that happens, your listing simply drops down the board. To reclaim your rank, you don't have to start over-you just pay the difference between your current total and your new bid.
4. The Crown
Become the Weekly Champion
Every Sunday at 11:59 PM GMT, the board takes a snapshot. The listing sitting at #1 becomes the Weekly Champion and is enshrined in the Hall of Fame for the next seven days.
5. Sponsor
Sit beside the Champion
Brands and companies can bid to sit directly beside the #1 spot as the Crown Sponsor. It is a way to capture massive attention without necessarily fighting for the champion title itself.
What exactly are you buying?
You are buying visibility and placement. You are not buying guaranteed traffic, clicks, or customers. The board is public and heavily trafficked, but visitors will only click on your listing if your product, title, and image capture their interest.
There are no subscriptions and no recurring fees. You pay only when you place a bid. Once your money is on the board, your listing stays up forever-it only loses its rank if someone else is willing to pay more.
